These are good burgers on their own, but they pale in comparison to freshly made turkey burgers. Obviously, frozen things can’t touch the taste of fresh ones.

I love to eat them in combination with others. However, the seasoning is at its peak because I feel the strong flavor of spices in the patty. Whereas to make turkey burgers the seasoning is not too bad and you can still enjoy its taste.

The one serving comprises 240 calories and 30 g of protein. However, it is a good source of protein while the sugar amount is 1 g.

Yes, this is just regular meat, but it has an incredible nutritional profile. The protein-to-fat and carbohydrate ratio is incredible, with 30 grams of protein per turkey patty. My favorite double burgers have 60 grams of protein and only 24 grams of fat. It’s incredible.

A good amount of sodium:

There is 390 mg of sodium per turkey burger patty, which is 16% of the daily recommended value.

Normally, I would classify a sodium content like this as moderate, but for pre-seasoned burgers, 390 mg per serving is fantastic.

I honestly expected a lot worse and was pleasantly surprised to see only 16% DV there. That double burger is sounding even better now.

Nutritional Fact:

The whole container comprises 10 burger patties while the serving size is one burger. Hence, the complete packing can serve ten people easily. How many calories are present in one turkey patty, let’s discover it.

Turkey burgers Vs the ground beef burgers

The turkey burgers are healthier than the ground beef burgers but when we compare the fat and calories, they have an equal ratio.

Turkey burgers are healthier than ground beef burgers because they contain more healthy fats. Ground beef contains saturated fats, whereas turkey contains polyunsaturated fats, which are much healthier.

Moreover, people who associate calories/fat with health usually have the biggest misconception. Because the burger will have the same number of calories as an 80/20 ground beef burger.

Ground turkey contains neither fewer calories nor less fat than ground beef. Ground turkey contains more calories than ground beef!

  • Place the frozen turkey patties one by one so that they don’t overlap each other.
  • Cook each side for 8 to 10 minutes or till you get the desired color.
  • But make sure the internal temperature should be 165 F.

Grill:

  • Preheat the grill and place the patties in a single layer.

Oven:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F and place the parchment paper on the cookie sheet.

Because when I grill the frozen patties, they turn a beautiful color. Moreover, the patties become very juicy and tender. When I put them in a bun along with the vegetables and sauces, they taste amazing. It is one of the favorite burgers for my family.

Final thoughts

Costco Turkey Burgers are a hit! They are inexpensive, have an excellent nutritional profile, and are both convenient and versatile.

But the problem is that the burger is overly processed, which degrades its taste and texture. It would be nice to have a more ground turkey flavor.
